Before the big idea

Good questions.
Clear answers.

The practical details, without the runaround. Your written proposal confirms the exact scope and terms for your project.

Getting started

What kind of businesses do you build websites for?

Service businesses, independent professionals, shops, and growing organisations that need a clear, useful online presence. Tell us how your business works so we can check that the project is a good fit.

Do I need to know anything about websites?

No. Bring your goals, what you offer, and the questions customers ask most. We’ll explain the choices in plain language and agree on what to build.

Can you work with businesses outside Florida?

Yes. Planning, feedback, and handover can happen remotely. Let us know your location, time zone, and any requirements specific to your business.

What happens after I send an enquiry?

We review what you need, ask any follow-up questions, and discuss a suitable approach. Before paid work begins, you receive a written scope, price, and timeline to approve. An enquiry is not a booking or a commitment to buy.

What do you need from me?

Usually your business details, services, logo if you have one, approved text, photos you have permission to use, and examples of sites you like. The project quote will list anything else needed.

Can you help if I don’t have a logo or finished content?

Tell us what’s missing. Small copy refinements may be included in your package; original copywriting, branding, photography, and extensive content creation need a separate agreed scope.

Packages & costs

What are the website packages?

Launch is $399 for up to 3 pages. Presence is $699 for up to 6 pages and includes everything in Launch. Signature starts at $999 for 9+ pages with an agreed scope, including everything in Presence. Larger or more involved work is quoted individually. All prices are USD.

What counts as a page?

A distinct published page such as Home, About, Services, or Contact. A section on a page is not normally another page. Large catalogues, repeated location pages, and complex content collections are scoped separately.

Why does Signature say “starting at”?

A larger business site can vary a lot in content, design, and integrations. $999 is a starting point, not a promise that every custom request is included. Your final pages, features, revision rounds, and price are agreed in writing.

Do prices include domains, email, and hosting?

The listed prices are website build fees. Domain registration and renewals, email mailboxes, any hosting charges, subscriptions, and paid tools are separate. Your quote identifies expected setup and recurring costs before you approve work.

Are there monthly fees?

There is no automatic monthly studio plan included in the one-time build price. Your chosen domain, hosting, email, and tools may have recurring charges. Ongoing studio support, if requested, is agreed separately.

Can hosting be free?

Some static websites fit within a provider’s free plan. That depends on the features, traffic, usage limits, and provider terms. Free hosting is not guaranteed forever; we’ll explain the setup and any expected costs.

How do payments and deposits work?

Payment timing, any deposit, and the amount due at each stage are set in your written proposal. We do not start chargeable work or purchase paid services for you without your approval.

What if I need something beyond my package?

We explain the extra scope and price before doing that work. You can approve it, simplify the request, or keep it for a later phase.

Can you guarantee more enquiries or a Google ranking?

No. A website can improve clarity and make contacting you easier, but leads, sales, and search rankings depend on many factors. We do not guarantee revenue, traffic, or a particular search position.

Design & delivery

How long does a project take?

Timing depends on scope, content readiness, feedback, and our schedule. We agree on a realistic timeline in the proposal. Tell us about a firm deadline early; it must be confirmed rather than assumed.

How does the process work?

Discover: agree on goals, scope, and price. Design: plan and refine the look. Build: develop the pages and agreed tools. Launch: you review and approve the site before the domain is connected.

Will my website work on phones?

Yes. Responsive layouts and checks at representative phone and desktop sizes are part of the build. We’ll also test the agreed features; very old browsers or unusual devices may have limitations.

Will it look exactly like a site I send you?

Reference sites help us understand your taste and needs. We create an appropriate design for your business using content and assets you can legally use, rather than copying another company’s site.

How many changes can I request?

Launch includes 2 revision rounds and Presence includes 3 before launch. Signature rounds are confirmed in the proposal. A round means one collected set of feedback within the agreed scope; a new direction or feature may need a new quote.

What if I’m late sending content or feedback?

The timeline may shift. We’ll explain what’s waiting and revise the schedule with you. Sending consolidated feedback and approved content helps keep the project moving.

What accessibility work is included?

We aim for readable content, keyboard access, clear labels, useful contrast, and responsive layouts. A formal accessibility audit, certification, or specific compliance requirement must be scoped separately; no site is guaranteed compliant just because it has been built.

Can I review the site before it launches?

Yes. You review a working version and provide feedback before approving launch. Publishing to your main domain happens after the agreed approval and payment stages.

Features & platforms

Do I have to use Shopify?

No. The platform depends on what your site needs. A service business site may suit a lightweight custom build, while selling products may call for an ecommerce platform. We explain the practical tradeoffs and costs.

Can you redesign or migrate my existing site?

Yes, subject to a review of your current platform, content, access, and integrations. Migration, redirects, store data, and subscriptions need their own plan. We won’t cancel services or replace the live site without agreement.

Can you add booking, calendars, or forms?

Often, yes. We can connect suitable tools or scope a more tailored feature. Vendor subscriptions, usage fees, account requirements, and custom development are confirmed before work begins.

Can you build an online store or take payments?

Tell us what you sell and how fulfilment works. Product catalogues, payments, shipping, tax configuration, and customer accounts are not automatically included in the standard brochure-site packages. They need a suitable platform and a specific quote.

What does search setup include?

The package includes the listed search foundations, such as page titles, descriptions, and a sitemap. Presence adds agreed structured markup and social previews. Ongoing SEO, campaigns, link building, and content programmes are separate work.

Can you set up my Google Business Profile?

Presence includes guidance. Eligibility and verification are controlled by Google, and you remain the business owner. We cannot guarantee verification, approval, or map placement.

Do I get a business email address?

A mailbox is a separate service. Presence includes connecting one mailbox when you have a suitable provider and account. Mailbox subscriptions and renewals are not included in the build fee.

Ownership & after launch

Can I keep my existing domain?

Usually, yes. We can connect it to the agreed hosting setup. We check existing email and DNS requirements first so a website change does not unintentionally interrupt other services.

Who owns the domain and service accounts?

Your business should control its domain, hosting, and paid service accounts. We can help with setup and use only the access needed for the project. Account ownership and handover are confirmed in the proposal.

Can I edit the text myself?

All three packages include a simple password-protected text editor and handover. It is for the agreed text fields; changing layouts, adding features, or managing large catalogues may require development or a different content system.

Do I receive the website files?

Handover includes the agreed site files and access needed to run the delivered site, subject to the proposal and completed payment. Third-party software, fonts, stock assets, and subscriptions retain their own licences and terms.

What support is included after launch?

The packages list a bug-fix period: 7 days for Launch, 14 for Presence, and 30 for Signature. This covers faults in the agreed delivered work, not new features, content changes, or third-party outages. Scope and start date are confirmed in writing.

Can you maintain the website later?

We can discuss updates and ongoing support based on availability and scope. Maintenance, response times, backups, and recurring fees need a separate agreement; a one-time build is not an unlimited support contract.

What if I need to cancel or move to another provider?

Cancellation, refunds, completed work, and handover arrangements follow the agreement you approve before the project begins. Ask about any uncertainty before paying; we’ll make the terms clear.

Will you write my legal policies?

You are responsible for the accuracy of your business information and the policies your business needs. We can publish approved text and implement agreed consent tools. Legal advice and policy drafting require an appropriately qualified professional.

What happens to information I submit through this contact form?

It is used to review and respond to your enquiry, not to subscribe you to marketing. The contact page explains the private inbox, 90-day expiry, spam controls, and how to request access, correction, or deletion.
